Job Summary:
The Inside Sales Representative will focus on supporting distributors and channel partners. In addition target new customer acquisition. This position involves supporting customer requirements brought in via the sales channels. It also includes cold calling new potential clients, client business referrals, or web leads. Provide prospective customers/clients with all services offered, and additional presentations as needed. Work with the channel partner and client to create solutions for their needs and consult through the sales process. Must be energetic, well-spoken, and eager to close sales and increase revenue.
- Support Distribution and Sales Channel partners
- Support the demand creation process to fuel region growth
- Manage daily sample requests, quotation requests
- Finding new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
- Understanding customer needs and requirements and work towards solutions
- Develop new business within a specified territory and or vertical market(s)
- Support forecasting process
- Maintain Sales Funnel
- Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned territory
- Perform effective online presentations to prospects
- Assess competitors by analyzing and summarizing competitor information and trends; identify sales opportunities.
- Update job knowledge by studying new product descriptions; participate in educational opportunities.
- Accomplish department and organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; explore opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
- Outside travel encompasses less than 20% of your schedule
- Proven inside sales experience
- 3 – 5 years of work experience
- Track record of over-achieving quota
- Technical product sales experience
- Excellent English verbal and written communications skills
- Strong listening and presentation skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- LED lighting industry experience (highly desired)
- BA/BS degree or equivalent
